About Novus Attractions
Novus Attractions is building next-generation smart mini-golf experiences that combine physical gameplay, technology, and immersive environments. We are looking for a highly capable Product Industrialization & Technical Operations Manager to help turn our concepts, prototypes, and product systems into scalable, manufacturable, installable, maintainable, and commercially ready solutions.

About the Role

This is a hands-on, cross-functional role for someone who thrives between product development and real-world execution. You will work across technical research, sourcing, supplier coordination, manufacturing readiness, packaging, logistics, installation planning, maintenance planning, and compliance support.

The ideal candidate is practical, resourceful, and comfortable operating in a fast-moving hardware environment. You should be able to investigate unresolved questions, compare options, identify risks, and make strong recommendations that improve execution and reduce bottlenecks.

Key Responsibilities

You will:

  • Research and evaluate practical solutions for product construction, assembly, durability, installation, maintenance, and field performance

  • Help convert concepts, prototypes, and partial designs into production-ready systems

  • Review components and physical interfaces, and recommend improvements for manufacturability, serviceability, and scalability

  • Source and evaluate materials, components, and suppliers based on quality, cost, lead time, and technical fit

  • Coordinate with domestic and international vendors, request quotations and samples, and support supplier selection

  • Improve production readiness by identifying dependencies, tooling considerations, process gaps, and execution risks early

  • Support packaging, palletizing, labeling, shipping preparation, and logistics planning for domestic and international deliveries

  • Help define installation workflows, checklists, maintenance recommendations, and field-readiness processes

  • Research relevant certifications, testing requirements, and compliance pathways for target markets

  • Work closely with the CEO, engineers, vendors, and production partners to track open items and move unresolved technical-operational topics forward

Qualifications:

Required

  • Experience in hardware product development, product industrialization, technical operations, manufacturing engineering, new product introduction, or a similar cross-functional role

  • Strong understanding of physical product development and real-world production constraints

  • Experience sourcing materials, components, vendors, and manufacturing partners

  • Ability to evaluate technical and operational trade-offs and make practical recommendations

  • Experience working with prototypes, fabrication methods, packaging, or production processes

  • Strong independent research, problem-solving, communication, and coordination skills

  • High ownership mentality, strong follow-through, and attention to detail

Preferred

  • Experience with electronics-integrated products, interactive hardware, kiosks, amusement products, or electromechanical systems

  • Familiarity with certification workflows such as CE, FCC, UL, ETL, or similar

  • Experience working with suppliers in China and North America

  • Familiarity with CAD review, DFM/DFMA, prototyping workflows, and production handoff

  • Experience with installation planning, packaging engineering, field service, or freight preparation

  • Experience in a startup or fast-moving product company environment
